Demand McCain co-sponsor the new GI Bill

WE THE UNDERSIGNED demand that Senator John McCain sign on as a co-sponsor to The Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act (S.22 & H.R.2702).
In the words of Senator Jim Webb, "Our nation's men and women in uniform deserve a GI Bill that rewards their service and invests in their future."
If Senator McCain truly cares about the future of our veterans, then he will agree to co-sponsor this bipartisan bill that would provide our post-9/11 veterans with a fully-funded education.

For him being a vet why wouldn't he sign the bill? That makes no sense to me and as far as I can tell it doesn't make any sense to anyone else. Shame on McCain.

It is hard for me to believe that any Veteran would be the slightest bit hesitant to support legislation that would help veterans transition from military life to civilian life. He won't have my vote in November!

I am a republican,voting for McCain, however he does need to support this bill..Our serivce men should be compensated fully for any and all education expenses..They protect our country willingly, and thank God for those brave and loving soldiers...WE NEED TO SUPPORT THEM NOW..this GI bill needs to be signed!!!

I'm a Republican and will be voting for McCain on election day coming up. I grew up around the military all my life and have friends who are proudly serving. I have to admit, this whole thing about McCain not signing the new proposed GI bill ticks me off. Of all people talking about there life as a proud military personnel. Do something for these guys today, it may be one of the only little thanks the government can give back. DO THE RIGHT THING!! If it passes, its no thanks to McCain if he doesn't sign.
